This was a wonderful outing during our week in Marrakech!
We really enjoyed this excursion. It’s a great way to get out of the city and see the surrounding area. The food was excellent and it’s a lovely camp where we could hang around and enjoy some music. Hamid was amazing – so funny and engaging, it was a pleasure to spend time with him and we all really enjoyed it, Great value for money!

Good fun
Great way to experience something of the desert, without a 3 day road trip to the Sahara. The drive is about an hour, through the suburbs, palm groves and then onto the rocky plain of the Agafay desert. Arriving at a ranch, you’re greeted with mint tea and plenty of photo opportunities amongst some ruins. Can use the “golden hour” before sunset to capture some pix for the ‘gram. The meal was simple, okay, but the setting and company really good value. The hosts built a bonfire, and later we all sat around whilst they sang and drummed, and had an excellent musician playing a guitar like instrument. Generally good fun. Not expensive and very good value to see a different landscape. Would have liked the lights out a little longer to be able to see more of the stars at night.

Amazing experience at night in the desert!
Our driver was great, offering to take pictures and going out of his way to make sure we got the promised sunset pictures! Great cultural tour with the Argam oil tour, camel ride and the authentic food and singing around the fire. The food was amazing and seeing the sky full with stars and enjoy the music and entertainment around the fire was a great ending to the day!

Amazing food and awesome experience!
Amazing dinner and service! Our group of 7 really enjoyed this experience as we enjoyed dinner in the desert. Food was incredible. Our driver brought us to many different lookout points, including leaving dinner for sunset on a hill with a 360 view of the desert. After the sun went down a musical performance/ritual was done around the fire. Although there were roughly 50 people there, the space was spread out and felt private.

Our first time in Morocco celebrating our anniversary.
Love it! The camel ride was short and sweet. The dinner was delicious. It was the typical Moroccan dish. The hosts were full of positive energy. Great night.

Dinner in desert
Our flight was delayed so we were late on the meeting time for about 30 mins. Luckily our driver is very patient, they wait for us. The experience was nice. We enjoy the bonfire performance and we join the dance.

Desert trip
Hamad was an excellent driver who got us safely into the desert through some very entertaining roads/ tracks! The sunset was spectacular and the whole vista very atmospheric. The food and entertainment made for a memorable trip but the best bit for me was watching the camel trains across the skyline as the sun set. Or was it seeing the stars with such clarity when they switched off all the lights – can’t make my mind up!

Desert Sunset is a must see.
It was all fabulous 😊 we had a great driver, Hamid, who got us to the desert sunset on time and took the best photo of the day for my friend and I. The sun setting was brilliant and we captured it all. We then headed out into the Agafay Desert for the traditional meal. Once there we had time to enjoy the dark skies, the call for prayer across the mountains and the ambience of the camp. It really made the evening special. Again great photo opportunities. When the camp lights were turned off, we saw all the stars in the sky. Truly a wonderful evening.

A beautiful experience
Very amazing trip in Agafay Desert, the dinner at the sunset was really good in this charming athmosphere and also the berber songs around the fire were wonderful!!! Very nice organisation!!!
