Beautiful Scenery, Knowledgeable Guide, Good Time
Me and my partner did the 3 day Berber Village trek and our guide was Ibrahim. He was friendly, knowledgeable, totally experienced and, he knew (and clearly was liked by) every local person we passed by. Even the kids stopped to give him a warm greeting! He’s clearly been guiding in this area for a long time and we felt very comfortable traveling with him. A nice mix of conversation and space. We kept a good pace through the days, not too much walking and not too little. Overall it was a tiny bit more up and down than I had expected but, it was absolutely not “too much” if you enjoy hiking and, each night after we made it to the place we were staying I still hiked all around to check things out so it’s not like I was exhausted. The first two days were awesome, the third day was ok, we hiked out to this waterfall which was kinda an out and back thing mostly on mountain skree and, I’ve seen better waterfalls (even on this hike). That said, it seems like each hike can be a bit different depending on the groups pace and (as was in our case) the weather.. A storm washed out some bridges a few days before we hiked and Ibrahim handled things excellently. We’re both vegetarian and I can say that we ate like royalty on this trip. There was not a meal that I could even come close to finishing, the food just keeps coming!! Due to the time of year we also got to pick countless blackberries, apples, walnuts & figs along the path. Things to know. – When they pick you up at your Marrakech riad, it’s an hour drive to the office which is in the town you start the hike from & your guide will meet you there. – You only need to carry a small bag with water and maybe an extra layer, the other items you may want at night will be on the mule. – The mule does not hike with you but you see it at lunch stop and at the end spot/dinner. – Ibrahim made us each a hiking stick, and I was glad I had it.

Very memorable experience!
Amazing trip I’ll remember for a long time. Mostafa was an amazing guide and very helpful. Everyone was very hospitable and if anything I was given too much food!
Definitely take proper walking gear and some warm clothes for the nights. The trek on the last day was very difficult – I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who isn’t decently physical fit.

Great Climb
This company is the best value for money out there! For the competitive price, food, accommodation, a donkey, and the guide are included! We contacted them at 5pm for a tour for the next morning and they met with us last minute, which we were so grateful for. Our guide, Abraham, was very nice too and always made sure we were happy! All of us got to the summit too woohoo! Definitely recommend this company.

Mount Toubkal Climb
Absolutely amazing and challenging experience. Would give the guides a 10/10 for their effort in making it a great adventure and also making the challenge seem easier than it is. Would 100% recommend!

3day Trek via the Aguelzim Pass and through the Azzaden Valley to Toubkal summit
We had a very beautiful trek with lasting memories. Our guide Hassan and cook Hamid were both very kind and we had very interesting conversations. We spent the first night in a tent at a remote place in the middle of beautiful mountains. We always had very good food and a lot of snacks and obviously a lot of fantastic mint tea. On the second day we had a long and challenging hike up to 3650m and then down to the refugee. Fantastic views! On the early morning of the third day at 4am we started our ascent of Toubkal. With a steady pace (Tenmirz Hassan!) we made it on point for the sunrise which was a breathtaking experience. We were able to hike down a different path alongside which we found the remains of a crashed plane. The hike down through this valley was fantastic (but hiking boots are kind of a must because you walk through a lot of gravel and bigger rocks).
All in all we were very happy we chose the 3day trek, because on the first two days we were mostly completly alone which was a very nice experience. Between Imlil and the Refugee there are a lot of people and shops and on a 2day trek you hike the same way up and down. The pickup and drop of in Marrakech was very good organised as well. We recommend it a lot to make your trek with Toubkal Guide.
