A night in the desert
The Berber clan was fantastic. They were very friendly, superbly helpful, and sincerely wanting the experience to be something spectacular, and they succeeded entirely. Our assigned care giver, Mohamed, was excellent in all areas.

Exquisite experience, a must do in Marrakech!
Excellent experience from start to end. We started our journey in a comfortable minivan, small group of 3 which made it even better. We were not rushed and given plenty of photos opportunities, many stops throughout the drive (including toilet break which is important for the long drive) and weren’t coerced into buying anything, unlike some tours where you’re stopped at touristy spots.
Abdou was a great driver and guide for our trip though the Atlas Mountains to the Berber camp. Firstly, he was a very safe and patient driver, a must for riding through many narrow mountain roads. He also kept us relaxed by sharing soothing Moroccan and African music tracks. He took care to make a lot of stops to show us the best overlooks. He steered us to a nice lunch spot and had many local contacts who gave mini tours of mountain villages (some extra tips required). Above all he was friendly and patient and happy to answer questions and explain local phenomena and sights.
The Berber camping experience started with a 30 minute dromedary ride to the camp during a beautiful sunset, and then a tea service with our caravan guide Lahsan. He was very charming as were the other camp guides who played drum music by the fire until 10pm. Dinner wasn’t fancy, but filling—barley soup, bread, well spiced chicken and potatoes. For this city dweller, the clear starry night was incredible to see (with the Milky Way clearly visible) and the sunrise was well worth the trip.
The only caution is that the shower facilities in the camp are poor (weak and cold water) and the beds are a bit uncomfortable, especially for people over 6 feet tall.
Overall, we had a marvelous time and highly recommended.

Atlas mountain village tour
Hamid our guide was wonderful and informative tour of the mountains around Imlil. The area is spectacular and we understand why the Berbers are so proud of it. His English is good and will only get better!

Perfect 2-day trip from Marrakech
The trip was well planned and flexible to suit our preferences, the driver excellent and the Berber camp a cool experience. Our driver Ibrahim showed all around, was very pleasant and drove safely!
For only 2 days, the trip was an incredible sightseing opportunity and gave us brief insights into the Berber life. Great photos and cool souvenirs as well!
Only con, the organising company was very difficult to find (phone/messages) until a day before the trip.
Overall, great experience!

Incredible.
I highly recommend this tour. My friend and I did this tour and it was incredible. Abdou our tour guide made the car ride very fun!! He is so knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure we had a good time. The berber village was very nice and we got to hang out with locals. The camel rode was absolutely unreal. We rode them at sunset and again at sunrise…once in a lifetime experience! The tajine at the camp and during lunch was also tasty. Go on this tour if you are going to marrakech and would like to leave the city and learn more about berber culture. Best experience yet.
